Hannah Davis Signs with Gordon State College

MACON, Ga. – First Presbyterian Day School senior softball player Hannah Davis signed a national letter of intent to play at Gordon State College on Thursday, Feb. 14.

The signing, which took place in the Middlebrooks Athletic Center, is the second of three signings this year for the FPD softball program.

Davis was terrific at patrolling the outfield grounds during her career at FPD. The speedy outfielder hit .369 this past season and scored 25 runs, which was second best on the squad. The senior was also a perfect 8-for-8 in stolen bases on the campaign.

Davis’ signing marks the tenth FPD softball player that has committed to play softball at the collegiate level since 2004.

The First Presbyterian Day School Department of Athletics, home to multiple region and state championships in both the GISA and GHSA, strives to build the student athlete both in the playing arena and the classroom while continuing to educate and equip students to change the world for God’s glory. Now a member of the GHSA, the Vikings have continued to provide FPD athletes, coaches, fans and spectators a positive, Christian environment on a daily basis.
