Girls Soccer to Play for 2013 Viking Cup Championship

MACON, Ga. – Using yet another sound defensive showing, the First Presbyterian Day School girls soccer team (3-0) defeated Strong Rock 2-0 on Friday, March 1 and advanced to the 2013 Viking Cup Championship game on Saturday night.

The Lady Vikings got goals from Jane Howell and Annie Kate Barnes to seal the win.

FPD has now outscored opponents 22-0 in the first three games of the season.

The Lady Vikings will take on the winner of the Veterans-Fellowship Christian match, which takes place on Saturday at 11:30 a.m. at FPD.

Kickoff for the championship match is set for 7:30 p.m. at the FPD Soccer Complex.
