Girls and Boys Tennis Win at Home vs. Strong Rock

MACON, Ga. – The First Presbyterian Day School girls and boys tennis teams hit the courts on Tuesday afternoon, April 9, taking on Strong Rock in non-region play.

In the girls match, the Lady Vikings (6-3) shutout the Lady Patriots 5-0. FPD gained singles wins from senior Katy Hall, Olivia Taylor and Mary Madison Foshee.

FPD complete the shutout in the doubles matches with the duos of Summer Sanders/Sydney Reese and Abigail Pierce/Bonnie Scurry.

In the boys match, the Vikings (9-0) earned singles wins from senior Daniel Strawn as well as from Michael Durham and Miller Durham.

FPD’s doubles victory came from Dylan Liles/Max Chandler and Brooks Stroud/Tristan Hilyer.

The tennis teams bounce back to play on Thursday, April 11, welcoming Pacelli for matches beginning at 4 p.m.
