Tennis Wins at Home vs. Pacelli

MACON, Ga. – The First Presbyterian Day School girls and boys tennis teams hit the courts on Monday, April 15, welcoming Pacelli for a region match at the FPD tennis courts.

In the girls match, the Lady Vikings earned a 4-1 win.

Katy Hall and Mary Madison Foshee won their respective singles matches, while the duos of Summer Sanders/Sydney Reese and Abigail Pierce/Bonnie Scurry won the doubles matches to secure the win for the Lady Vikings.

In the boys match, the Vikings kept its unbeaten streak alive, taking down Pacelli 5-0.

Senior Daniel Strawn, Michael Durham, and Miller Durham took care of business in singles with Dylan Liles/Max Chandler and Brooks Hanson/Tristan Hilyer winning both doubles matches.

The tennis teams return to action quickly, taking on Brookstone at Tattnall Square Park in Macon at 4 p.m. The winners of both matches will clinch the no. 1 seed for the Area Tournament, which starts on Thursday, April 18.
