Boys Cross Country 6th, Girls 8th at One Last Chance Meet

CARROLLTON, Ga. – The FPD girls placed eighth and the boys finished sixth at the One Last Chance Meet on Saturday morning, Oct. 26.

Racing against 17 teams, the Lady Vikings were paced by Jessica Smith. who took sixth place at 20:32 while Savannah Phillips was 12th overall at 21:19, respectively.

The boys team saw Will Martin continue his strong season, with a 13th place finish overall at 17:47.

Paul Young was 38th overall and Sonny Bailey was 39th.

The cross country teams return to their racing ways on Thursday, Oct. 31 at the GHSA Class-A Area 1 Meet at the Georgia Children’s Home in Macon at 1 p.m.
