MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The First Presbyterian Day School football team took care of business on the road Friday night, winning its first region game of the year 30-7 over the GMC Bulldogs.

Reggie Gantt scored twice, K.J. Spears once and Ryan Lindsey added a touchdown in the victory.

FPD struck early in the first quarter when Gantt ran in a three-yard score at the 8:50 mark.

Just six minutes later, Spears got in on the scoring action with a three-yard run to give the Vikings a 14-0 lead.

After a GMC score midway through the second period, Gantt ran for his second touchdown from 14-yards out to give FPD a 21-7 advantage at the half.

The Vikings continued their scoring outbreak in the third quarter when kicker James Collins drilled a 30-yard field goal, giving FPD the upper hand at 24-7.

FPD’s final score came in the fourth quarter after a recovered fumble by the FPD defense and a Ryan Lindsey eight-yard touchdown run.
