Girls Basketball Back to No. 20 in Latest Power Ratings

MACON, Ga. – The third edition of the GHSA Class-A Private School girls basketball power rankings were released on Tuesday, January 21, with FPD garnering a spot at no. 20 overall.

The rankings are used throughout the season to determine the top-16 teams in both Class-A Private and Public, with those schools advancing to the GHSA State Tournament.

The Lady Vikings (8-6) are up four spots from last week’s poll after wins at home over Putnam County and GMC Prep.

Altogether, FPD accumulated 6.19 points and remains less than a point out of a spot in the top-16.

Rankings will be released every Tuesday for the remaining duration of the 2013-14 season.
