Volleyball Drops Two Matches at Perry

PERRY, Ga. – The FPD volleyball team (5-8) dropped both of its matches on Tuesday night, falling to the Perry Lady Panthers in three games (22-25/25-16/20-25) before dropping the finale of the evening to the Warner Robins Lady Demons (12-25/15-25). All matches were played at Perry High.

Mackenzie Johnson paced FPD with nine kills against the Lady Panthers, while teammate Abigail Pierce chipped in with five kills.

Pierce led the squad with five aces and Kate Patterson dropped in four aces as well.

In the second match of the evening, the Lady Vikings dropped to Warner Robins in two games. Johnson led the team with four digs and Mikayla Mobley posted two aces and two digs.

FPD is back to action quickly, hosting Harris County and Strong Rock on Thursday night, August 28. First serve is scheduled for 5 p.m. inside the Middlebrooks Athletics Center.
