Swimming Recaps from Nov. 20 Meet at The Lovett School

ATLANTA – The FPD swim teams raced to top finishes at The Lovett School Meet on Thursday afternoon, Nov. 20, with the Vikings taking first place and the Lady Vikings coming in second overall.

Highlighting the meet was FPD’s Vivianna Chang, who carded a 5:10.63 in the 500-meter freestyle event.

Chang also placed first in the 200-meter freestyle event at 2:27.

In the boys meet, the Vikings bested Whitefield Academy 51-6 to claim first.

Ru Yi Marone recorded another strong meet for the Vikings, taking first in the 50-meter freestyle at 28.49 and 100-meter freestyle at 1:06.30.

The Lady Vikings and Vikings return to the water on Friday, Dec. 5, hosting a meet at the Northside Pool at 7 p.m.
