FPD Athletes Encouraged to Attend “Get to College” Session at Mercer on Jan. 17

MACON, Ga. – FPD is encouraging its student-athletes to attend the “Get to College” information session hosted by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), Motivating Youth Foundation, and Urban CEO at Mercer University on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2015 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

The session, set to take place inside the Mercer Medical School Auditorium, will focus on the recruiting process, financial aid, compliance and multiple other topics on playing sports at the collegiate level.

“We appreciate and support this effort to inform our students and their parents about what they need to know regarding college recruitment,” FPD Athletic Director Greg Moore said. “I would recommend this to anyone interested in learning more about the possibility of playing at the next level in any sport.”

Those in attendance will also receive free tickets to Mercer’s home men’s basketball game against Samford later that afternoon at 4 p.m.
