Swimming Recaps from Jan. 15 Stratford Meet at Northside Pool

MACON, Ga. – The FPD varsity swim teams competed in a four-team meet hosted by Stratford Academy at the Northside Pool on Thursday night, Jan. 16 with the Vikings taking first place overall and the Lady Vikings nabbing a second place finish.

In the boys meet, the Vikings posted 333 points to take the win. Highlighting the meet was Hanny Marone’s first place finish in the 100-yard breaststroke event, finishing at 1:17.46.

In the girls meet, the Lady Vikings took second place with 344 points. FPD’s Vivianna Chang took the top spot in the 100-yard backstroke event, clocking in at 1:08.55.

The swim teams return to action on Tuesday, Jan. 20, traveling to Georgia College in Milledgeville to compete in a meet hosted by Houston County at 5:30 p.m.
