FUN FACT:
Tuesday’s match vs. Fellowship marks the tenth straight season the Lady Vikings have appeared in the Final Four in combined GISA and GHSA action. FPD has advanced to the Class-A Final Four in the GHSA every year since becoming a member of the league in the 2010-11 calendar year.

FAMILIAR FOE:
FPD and Fellowship are no strangers to one another, each with a well documented history in GHSA postseason play.

In 2011, FPD’s first year in the GHSA, the Lady Vikings defeated the Lady Paladins 2-0 in the Final Four to advance to the State Championship match. FPD would eventually claim the title that year over Paideia 3-2.

A year later in 2012, the two squads met again in the Class-A Finals with FPD coming out on top 1-0 to claim its second consecutive State Title.

After a brief hiatus in 2013, FPD and Fellowship met once again in the 2014 Final Four. After a nearly two hour on and off severe thunderstorm delay, the Lady Vikings came from behind to claim a 2-1 victory in overtime to secure a spot in the state championship match.
