Boys Golf Bests Mount de Sales at Healy Point 145-209

MACON, Ga. – Riding high on an 18-hole tournament win at the Stratford Invitational from this past Monday, the FPD varsity boys golf team kept that momentum on Wednesday afternoon, April 6, claiming a 145-209 win over the Mount de Sales Cavaliers 145-209.

The win gives FPD a 3-0 win in head-to-head matches.

The Vikings were led by the 1-under 35 from senior Chris Adams while junior Wesley Hanson finished even par at 36.

Sophomore Wilson Andress and junior Charles Stroud each fired a 37 to round out the victory.

The Cavaliers were paced by the two 48’s of Bryce King and Adam Mills.

FPD returns to action on Tuesday, April 12, competing in the GHSA Class-A Area-1 Private Tournament at Healy Point.

Tee times are set to begin at 8 a.m.

The Vikings placed second in last year’s Area Tournament at the Club at River Forest.
