Weather Causes Softball Postponement Against Bleckley County

MACON, Ga. – After nearly an hour and a half lightning and rain delay at the FPD Softball Complex, the Lady Vikings (8-2) and the Bleckley County High School Lady Royals (7-2) finally got underway at 6:50 p.m.

And an inning into the contest with the score at 0-0, a severe thunderstorm warning came through the middle Georgia area and postponed the game for good.

The game will be made up on Tuesday, August 30 at 5:30 p.m.

FPD will plan to broadcast the game on the Viking Sports Radio Network beginning at 5:15 p.m.
