Varsity Girls and Boys Swimming Take First at Mercer Meet on Dec. 6

MACON, Ga. – The FPD varsity girls and boys swim teams splashed their way to a first place finish on Monday night, Dec. 6, at the Mercer University Meet hosted by FPD.

In the varsity girls meet, the Lady Vikings totaled a whopping 483.5 points. Second place went Northside High School with 268.

In the varsity boys meet, the Vikings tallied 414 points, good for a 72 point win over second-place Northside.

With the first place finish, the Vikings have taken the top spot in four of five events in 2016-17. The Lady Vikings have placed first twice as well this season.

The varsity swim teams return to action on Monday, Dec. 12, hosting a meet at the Northside Pool in Macon at 7 p.m.
