Head Coach

Joshua Trieste

Joshua Trieste serves as the Director of Soccer for FPD’s boys and girls soccer programs and will be the varsity boys and girls head coach in the 2023-2024 season. This will be his 23rd season head coaching at FPD and 29th overall as a head coach. Prior to the GHSA move in 2010, he had the longest current tenure of any GISA coach, serving for 16 consecutive years at both Tattnall Square and FPD. The move to the GIAA in 2023 marked his 17th season in the Independent Georgia association. His 2023 boy’s varsity team finished another successful campaign with a final ranking of 4th in the state. The team previously won Region Championships in 2021 and 2022, which was their final 2 seasons in GHSA.

Trieste has previously served as a GHSA-A Soccer Coordinator. He currently serves as the director of the Viking Soccer League, which is an elementary soccer league at FPD for players from Pre-K through 5th grade.
