Competition Cheerleading Takes Home Second at Greyhound Invitational

MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga.- The First Presbyterian Day School competition cheerleading team and head coach Jessica Murnan posted an impressive second place finish on Saturday, October 22 at the Greyhound Cheer Invitational hosted by Georgia College and State University.

The events marks the first of six matches for the Vikings this season.

FPD will return to the competition mat on Saturday, October 6 at Veterans High School at the “Battle of the Best” at 12:00 p.m.

The First Presbyterian Day School Department of Athletics, home to multiple region and state championships in both the GISA and GHSA, strives to build the student athlete both in the playing arena and the classroom while continuing to educate and equip students to change the world for God’s glory.
