Football Ranked #10 in Latest Max Preps Class A Private School Poll

MACON, Ga.- The First Presbyterian Day School football team (1-1) has been ranked no. 10 in the latest MaxPreps Class A private school poll.

After a loss in week one to George Walton 41-38, the Vikings responded with a 24-0 shutout win over GHSA AAA Pike County in its 2012 home opener on September 8.

The victory has gained FPD 45.43 points in the power rankings which are used to determine sate playoff qualifications at the end of the season. Just five points separate spots sixth through tenth in the rankings.

FPD has a scheduled open date on Friday, September 14. The Vikings are back in action on Friday, September 21 in Atlanta, taking on Pace Academy at 7:30.
