Football Ranked 16th in GHSA Class A Private School Poll

MACON, Ga.- After a 24-0 shutout victory over GHSA AAA member Pike County High School on September 7 and completing its scheduled open week, the First Presbyterian Day School football team sits at no. 16 in the latest GHSA Class A Private School Power Rankings.

The rankings are used to determine state playoff qualifications. The Vikings came in at tenth in the Week 3 poll, but fell six spots due to being inactive this past Friday (Sept. 14).

FPD has averaged 31 points of offense this season while allowing just 10 points in the last six quarters combined.

The Vikings travel to play Pace Academy on Friday, September 21 in its last non-region game of regular season. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
