Softball No. 10 in GHSA Power Rankings & No. 9 in Georgia Prep Country Poll

MACON, Ga.- After starting the region at 5-1, the First Presbyterian Day School softball team (15-11, 5-1 Reg. 7-A) is currently ranked tenth in the Georgia High School Association Class A Private School Power Rankings and comes in at ninth in the Georgia Prep Country Coaches Class A Private School Poll for the week ending September 22.

The rankings are used to determine state playoff qualifications at seasons end.

FPD has tallied 9.8 points in the GHSA Power Rankings, just under three points behind overall leader Savannah Christian .

The Vikings are back at it on Thursday, September 27, hosting Rutland High School on “Senior Night 2012.” First pitch is set for 5:30 p.m.
