Softball Ranked 7th in GHSA Poll, 6th in Latest Georgia Prep Country Coaches Poll

MACON, Ga.- After gaining two region wins on the year in as many tries, the First Presbyterian Day School softball team (12-10, 2-0 Reg. 7-A) is currently ranked seventh in the Georgia High School Association Class A Private School Power Rankings and comes in at sixth in the Georgia Prep Country Coaches Class A Private School Poll for the week ending September 17.

The rankings are used to determine state playoff qualifications..

FPD moved up four spots in the GHSA poll from last week, while staying at sixth in the Georgia Prep Country poll.

The Vikings play two region contests this week at home, taking on Twiggs County High School on Wednesday, September 19 in a doubleheader at 4:30 p.m. and Wilkinson County on Thursday, September 20 at 5:00 p.m.
