Volleyball Serves Way Past Yeshiva, Falls to Northside on Senior Night

MACON, Ga.- The First Presbyterian Day School volleyball team (8-13) defeated Yeshiva in two games on Thursday, September 20 at home 25-16 and 25-21.

The win marks the third straight for the FPD volleyball squad. The Vikings previously defeated Central Talbotton and Brookstone this past Tuesday on the road.

The Vikings also squared off against Northside on Thursday evening in the second match on Senior Night 2012. Before the match, seniors Abby Deckbar, Katy Hall and Bonnie Scurry were honored by head coach Stephanie Harrell and kind words were spoken from fellow team members.

FPD fell to Northside in the second match in two games 25-11 & 25-14.

The Viking volleyball team serves it up again on Thursday, September 27, traveling to Kings Ridge at 5:00 p.m.
