Competition Cheer Wins Cheerdawg Classic

FORSYTH, Ga.- The First Presbyterian Day School competition cheerleading team and head coach Jessica Murnan posted an impressive first place finish on Saturday, October 27 at the Cheerdawg Classic hosted by Mary Persons High School.

The events marks the fourth of six matches for the Vikings this season.

FPD has finished in fifth place or better in three of the first four events this season.

FPD will return to the competition mat on Saturday, November 3 at the GHSA Class A Sectionals hosted by Mercer University. The time of the event will be announced in the coming days.

The First Presbyterian Day School Department of Athletics, home to multiple region and state championships in both the GISA and GHSA, strives to build the student athlete both in the playing arena and the classroom while continuing to educate and equip students to change the world for God’s glory.
