Football Game Against Twiggs County to be Played at Home

MACON, Ga.- First Presbyterian Day School athletic director and head football coach Greg Moore have announced a change in the regular season football schedule effective today, October 8, 2012.

Moore and his Vikings (3-2, 1-1 GHSA Reg. 7-A) will now host Twiggs County High School at home on Friday, October 12 at 7:30 p.m. The game was originally scheduled to be a road game for the Vikings but has been moved to George S. Johnson Memorial Stadium on the campus of FPD instead.

FPD is fresh off its first region win this past week, defeating the Bulldogs of Georgia Military College Prep 31-7 on October 5.

The First Presbyterian Day School Department of Athletics, home to multiple region and state championships in both the GISA and GHSA, strives to build the student athlete both in the playing arena and the classroom while continuing to educate and equip students to change the world for God’s glory. Now a member of the GHSA, the Vikings have continued to provide FPD athletes, coaches, fans and surrounding spectators a positive, Christian environment on a daily basis.
