Football Ranked at #11 in GHSA Power Rankings

MACON, Ga.- After a 31-7 victory on Homecoming against region opponent Georgia Military College Prep on October 5, the First Presbyterian Day School football team (3-2, 1-1 Reg. 7-A) stands at no. 11 in the latest GHSA Class A Private School Power Rankings for the week ending October 6.

The rankings are used to determine state playoff qualifications and seeding at the end of the season. The Vikings are up three spots, coming in at no. 14 in the previous poll.

FPD has averaged nearly 29 points of offense this season while holding opponents to just ten points overall during the fourth quarter all year.

The Vikings host Twiggs County High School on Friday, October 12 in its third region game of the season. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m at George S. Johnson Memorial Stadium.
