FPD Football Enjoys Recognition at Macon Touchdown Club

MACON, Ga.- First Presbyterian Day School athletic director and head football coach Greg Moore spoke on behalf of the FPD football team (3-2, 1-1 GHSA Region 7-A) at the Macon Touchdown Club on Monday night, October 8.

Club members meet weekly throughout the middle Georgia high school football season to socialize and honor local high school football programs. College football coaches also travel to speak at each event.

October 8 was designated “FPD Night” at the Macon Touchdown Club. Moore spoke on behalf of the program and introduced all of the team captains.

Furthermore, Paul Johnson, head football coach at Georgia Tech, spoke to all members in attendance.

The Vikings are fresh off a 31-7 win against Georgia Military College Prep on October 5. FPD returns to action on Friday, October 12 hosting Twiggs County High School 7:30 p.m.

The First Presbyterian Day School Department of Athletics, home to multiple region and state championships in both the GISA and GHSA, strives to build the student athlete both in the playing arena and the classroom while continuing to educate and equip students to change the world for God’s glory.
