Softball Announces Game Times for Round One of GHSA State Playoffs vs. Darlington

MACON, Ga.- The First Presbyterian Day School softball team (17-11, 6-1 Reg. 7-A) and head coach Jim Turner have announced the starting time for its first round playoff series against The Darlington School in the GHSA State Tournament.

The Vikings will host the Tigers on Wednesday, October 17, in a best two-out-of-three game series. The first two games will be played on Wednesday starting at 5:00 p.m. at the FPD Softball Complex. Game two will immediately follow.

If necessary, a third game will be played on Thursday, October 18 at 2:00 p.m.

Admission will be $7. Those with a coaches pass should present the necessary credentials and sign in at the main gate.

The Vikings earned the no. 4 seed in the playoffs, gaining an automatic berth by winning the GHSA Region 7-A Region Championship over Glascock County on October 3.
