Softball Game at Perry High School Canceled

MACON, Ga.- After thunderstorms brought heavy rains to the middle Georgia area, the First Presbyterian Day School varsity softball team (16-11, 5-1 Reg. 7-A) and head coach Jim Turner have canceled their game at Perry High School today, October 1, 2012.

The Vikings are fresh off of a 10-7 win over Rutland High School this past Thursday, September 27 on Senior Night

FPD will return to action Wednesday, October 3, taking on Glascock County High School in the region championship at 5:00 p.m. at the FPD Softball Complex.

The First Presbyterian Day School Department of Athletics, home to multiple region and state championships in both the GISA and GHSA, strives to build the student athlete both in the playing arena and the classroom. Now a member of the GHSA, the Vikings have continued to provide FPD athletes, coaches, fans and surrounding spectators a positive, Christian environment on a daily basis.
