Softball Ranked No. 8 in Final GHSA Power Rankings

MACON, Ga.- The First Presbyterian Day School softball team (17-11, 6-1 Reg. 7-A) is currently ranked eighth in the Georgia High School Association Class A Private School Power Rankings for the week ending October 6.

The rankings are used to determine state playoff qualifications at seasons end.

FPD has tallied 10.75 points in the GHSA Power Rankings, just under three points behind overall leader Savannah Christian.

The Vikings will earn an automatic berth in the GHSA State Playoffs due to winning the GHSA Region 7-A Championship over Glascock County on Wednesday, October 3.
