Competition Cheerleading Finishes Out 2012 Season at State Finals

COLUMBUS, Ga. – The First Presbyterian Day School competition cheerleading team and head coach Jessica Murnan posted a seventh place finish at the GHSA Class A State Meet on Saturday, November 11, held in Columbus

The event brings an end to the season for the Vikings.

FPD finished in seventh place out of 16 teams at the State Competition.

The Vikings have finished in seventh place or better in five of the six scheduled events this season.

The Viking Athletic Department thanks the Class of 2013 for their hard work and enthusiasm throughout their careers at FPD.

The First Presbyterian Day School Department of Athletics, home to multiple region and state championships in both the GISA and GHSA, strives to build the student athlete both in the playing arena and the classroom while continuing to educate and equip students to change the world for God’s glory.
