Competition Cheerleading Qualifies for State Finals

MACON, Ga. – The First Presbyterian Day School competition cheerleading team and head coach Jessica Murnan posted a sixth place finish at the GHSA Class A Sectionals at Mercer University on Saturday, November 3.

The events marks the fifth of six matches for the Vikings this season.

FPD has finished in sixth place or better in four of the first five competitions this season.

By finishing in the top-eight, the Vikings qualified for the GHSA Class A Cheerleading State Finals on November 10 at 2:00 p.m. at the Columbus Civic Center in Columbus, Ga.
