Football Playoff Preview: Round 2 at Landmark
MACON, Ga.- After a 49-33 win over Brookstone in round one of the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) Class A Football State Playoffs on November 23, the First Presbyterian Day School Vikings (7-4) will travel to take on the 2011 State Runner-Up Landmark Christian War Eagles on Friday, November 30.
Below is a preview of the second round game for the Vikings.
Landmark Christian War Eagles (8-3, 5-1)
City: Fairburn, Ga.

Scouting Landmark: The 2011 Class A Runners-Up will look to advance to the semi-finals for a second straight year with what has become a lethal rushing attack. The War Eagles average nearly 265 yards per game on the ground. Over 77 percent of Landmark’s offense this season has come via the rush.
Key Wins: Mt. Paran (9/14) & Holy Innocents (11/2). Both teams made the playoffs in 2011.

Scouting FPD: The Vikings accomplished a first in school history by winning its first round playoff game at Brookstone on November 23. The Vikings have made the GHSA Class A Playoffs the past two seasons. FPD presents a balanced scoring attack, averaging over 200 yards on the ground and over 135 via the pass.
