Girls and Boys Swimming Posts Strong Finishes in Season Opener

MACON, Ga.- The First Presbyterian Day School girls and boys swimming teams opened up their 2012-13 season on Friday, November 9, hosting the FPD Invitational at The Northside Pool. The event welcomed six total teams on the girls side and three on the boys end.

The Vikings posted strong finishes in its first outings of the season. The girls and boys both placed third overall. The girls racked up 225 points, while the boys brought in 200.

The overall team winner for the girls and boys was the Columbus Blue Devils. For full results, check the following links.

FPD returns to the water on Friday, November 16, hosting another meet at the Northside Pool in Macon at 7:00 p.m.

The First Presbyterian Day School Department of Athletics, home to multiple region and state championships in both the GISA and GHSA, strives to build the student athlete both in the playing arena and the classroom while continuing to educate and equip students to change the world for God’s glory.
