Football Receives Votes in Final AP Poll

MACON, Ga.- The First Presbyterian Day School football team (7-5) gained recognition in the final Georgia AP Poll, published December 18, 2012. The poll ranks the best teams in each GHSA classification.

The Vikings received one vote in the Class A poll. Other school receiving votes included Savannah Christian, Marion County, Seminole County and Walker.

FPD advanced to the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) Class A State Playoffs for the second straight season and won its first playoff game in school history as a member of the GHSA, defeating Brookstone on the road 49-33 on Nov. 23.
