Basketball Power Rankings Released for Jan. 22

MACON, Ga.- The First Presbyterian Day School girls and boys basketball teams are both in the top-25 in the second GHSA Class A Private School Power Rankings of the season, released today, January 15, by the GHSA.

The rankings are used to determine the state playoffs and seeding at the end of the season.

The Lady Vikings (8-9) dropped two spots, coming in at no. 21 and accumulating 5.53 total points.

The Vikings (9-9) fell three spots in the poll, coming in at no. 20 and tallying 6.50 points.

Both basketball teams are in action this week taking on region opponents, traveling to Hancock Central on Tuesday, January 22 and hosting Twiggs County on Friday, January 25. FPD also hosts ELCA on Saturday, January 26 in non-region play. All times are listed on
