Girls and Boys Hoops Ranked in First GHSA Power Rankings of the Year

MACON, Ga.- The First Presbyterian Day School girls and boys basketball teams are both in the top-25 in the first GHSA Class A Private School Power Rankings of the season, released today, January 8, by the GHSA.

The rankings are used to determine state playoff qualifications and seeding at the end of the season.

The Lady Vikings (4-8) come in at no. 30 in the first poll of the season, accumulating 3.43 total points.

The Vikings (6-7) also sit at no. 21 in the rankings, totaling 4.87 points.

Both basketball teams are in action this week, traveling to Twiggs County on January 8, followed by a trip to Eagles Landing on January 11. The Red & Black return home on Saturday, January 12, hosting Schley County at 1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
