Girls and Boys Hoops Move Up in GHSA Power Rankings

MACON, Ga.- The First Presbyterian Day School girls and boys basketball teams are both in the top-25 in the second GHSA Class A Private School Power Rankings of the season, released today, January 15, by the GHSA.

The rankings are used to determine the state playoffs and seeding at the end of the season.

The Lady Vikings (7-8) jumped 11 spots, coming in at no. 19 and accumulating 5.07 total points.

The Vikings (9-7) moved up four spots in the poll, coming in at no. 17 and tallying 6.13 points.

Both basketball teams are in action this week taking on region opponents, hosting Wilkinson County on Tuesday, January 15 and traveling to GMC on Friday, January 18.
