Girls and Boys Swimming Take Home Third Place at January 11 Meet

MACON, Ga.- The First Presbyterian Day School girls and boys swimming teams competed in their eighth meet on Friday, January 11, hosting an event at The Northside Pool. The event welcomed 14 total teams on the night.

The Vikings posted impressive finishes in its eighth outing of the season. The girls racked up 78 points, which was good for a third place finish. The girls finished behind first place team winner Houston County High School, who posted 143 points in the victory.

The boys team finished the night with a tie for third place with Perry High School. FPD posted 56 points on the night, finishing just eight points behind second place finisher Providence Christian. The Houston County boys team won on the boys side as well, tallying 151 points.

FPD returns to the water on Friday, January 18, hosting another event at The Northside Pool at 7:00 p.m.
