Baseball Season Opener Washed Out for Feb. 19, Perry Game Rescheduled for Feb. 28

MACON, Ga. – Due to heavy rains and wet field conditions, the First Presbyterian Day School baseball team and head coach Jim Turner have canceled its season opener scheduled for today, Feb. 19, at Perry High School.

The game at Perry has, instead, been rescheduled for Thursday, Feb. 28 at 5:45 p.m.

This marks the first game that has been washed out this season.

FPD will now open the 2013 season on Friday, Feb. 22, traveling to Crawford County High School. First pitch is set for 5:45 p.m.

The First Presbyterian Day School Department of Athletics, home to multiple region and state championships in both the GISA and GHSA, strives to build the student athlete both in the playing arena and the classroom while continuing to educate and equip students to change the world for God’s glory.
