Boys Soccer vs. Strong Rock Canceled for Feb. 12

MACON, Ga. – Due to the high potential of inclement weather and heavy rains, the First Presbyterian Day School boys soccer team and head coach Josh Trieste have canceled its match scheduled for today, Feb. 12, against Strong Rock.

This marks the first match that has been washed out this season.

Both varsity soccer teams will open the 2013 season on Thursday, Feb. 14, traveling to Dublin High School. The boys kick-off at 5:30 p.m. while the girls follow at 7:30 p.m.

The First Presbyterian Day School Department of Athletics, home to multiple region and state championships in both the GISA and GHSA, strives to build the student athlete both in the playing arena and the classroom while continuing to educate and equip students to change the world for God’s glory. Now a member of the GHSA, the Vikings have continued to provide FPD athletes, coaches, fans and spectators a positive, Christian environment on a daily basis.
