Boys Soccer Wins on the Road at Strong Rock

LOCUST GROVE, Ga. – After a tough loss in its semifinal game of the 2013 Viking Cup on Feb. 22, the First Presbyterian Day School boys soccer team (3-1) quickly snapped its one game losing skid, defeating Strong Rock Christian 7-2 on the road on Tuesday, Feb. 26.

FPD’s Bradley Mullis netted four goals along with scores from Spencer Ennis, Christian Moore, and Chandler Cunden.

Cole Morton notched two assists in the victory. Moore, Cunden, and Kevin Griggs also helped spread the wealth, each garnering an assist on the night.

Keeper Matthew Feagin notched seven saves in the win for the Vikings.

FPD outshot Strong Rock 31-7.

In the three wins this year, the Vikings have outshot opponents 103-16 and outscored its competitors 17-2.

The Vikings return to the field on Tuesday, March 5 taking on Mary Persons High School in the Bulldog Cup in Forsyth at 7:30 p.m.
