Macon Touchdown Club Announcement: Annual Jamboree Set for TONIGHT, Thursday, Feb. 28

MACON, Ga. – The Macon Touchdown Club will welcome former Auburn head football coach Gene Chizik for the annual jamboree on Thursday, February 28, 2013.

The meeting will start at 6 p.m. at The Methodist Home For Children in The Rumford Center. The address is 304 Pierce Avenue.

The Guest Fee will be $30.

The Annual Jamboree is when the Macon Touchdown Club awards The Super Seven Players from the State, local players of the year, State Coach of the Year, local Coach of the Year and The Bobby Sanders Memorial Scholarship to four local athletes.

The First Presbyterian Day School Department of Athletics, home to multiple region and state championships in both the GISA and GHSA, strives to build the student athlete both in the playing arena and the classroom while continuing to educate and equip students to change the world for God’s glory.
