Region Tournament Brackets Released for Girls and Boys Basketball

MACON, Ga. – The First Presbyterian Day School girls and boys basketball teams will play in the Region 7 tournament, with brackets being released today, Friday, Feb. 8 by the GHSA.

The higher-seeded team will host the boys first round. The girls first round will be played at Hancock Central. The final four and the championship games will also take place at Hancock Central on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 15-16.

The Lady Vikings (12-11, 4-4 Reg. 7A), the no. 3 seed from the west, will face off against Lincoln County, the no. 2 seed from the east, on Tuesday, Feb. 12 at 5:00 p.m. at Hancock.

The Vikings (13-11, 3-5 Reg. 7A) will travel to play Aquinas on Wednesday, Feb. 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the first round as the no. 4 seed out of the west division, while Aquinas is the no. 1 seed from the east division.
