Boys Golf Wins Match Against Mary Persons, Girls Fall to Bulldogs

FORSYTH, Ga. – The First Presbyterian Day School boys and girls golf teams were in action on Thursday, March 21, traveling to play Mary Persons High School at the Forsyth City Course.

In the boys match, the Viking posted the win by 11 strokes, 151-162.

Senior Conner Albright was the low-golfer on the day, firing a 34 (-2). Brantley Wilson shot a 36 (E), Charles Stroud posted a 40 (+4) and Brooks Stroud finished with a 41 (+5), respectively, in the 9-hole event.

In the girls match, the Lady Vikings fell by nine strokes, 159-150. Senior Heidi Park shot a 42 (+6), while Claire Patton finished the day with a 58. Nancy Berkner signed her scorecard with a 59 as well.

The golf teams return to the links before the spring break holiday, competing in the Demon Invitational at the International City Golf Course in Warner Robins on Saturday, March 23 at 1 p.m.
