Boys Soccer Wins at Bleckley County

COCHRAN, Ga. – The First Presbyterian Day School boys soccer team (5-3) gained its second sconsecutive shutout, defeating Bleckley County High School 3-0 on the road on Thursday night, March 15.

Bradley Mullis netted a hat trick of three goals to secure the victory for the Vikings.

Kevin Griggs, Michael Oates, and Landon Newberry all recorded an assist for FPD on the night.

FPD outshot Bleckley 24-4.

In the net, keeper Jeremy Overman helped keep the shutout alive throughout the game by totaling three saves.

The shutout win for the Vikings is the fourth overall this season.

The boys soccer team returns to the field on Tuesday, March 19, welcoming Pacelli for a region game at 5:00 p.m. with the girls following at 7:00 p.m.
