Baseball Up to No. 3 in Second Power Rankings of the 2013 Season

MACON, Ga. – The First Presbyterian Day School baseball team has earned a spot in the second Georgia High School Association (GHSA) Class A Private School Power Rankings of the season, released today, April 2.

The rankings are used to determine the state playoffs and seeding at the end of the season.

The Vikings (13-0, 6-0 Reg. 7A) rank in at no. 3 of the 33 Class A private school teams on the poll with a ranking of 10.08. Darlington sits atop the rankings coming in at 10.58.

FPD has started the season undefeated, a new school record for consecutive wins to start a campaign.

The baseball team returns to the field on Monday, April 2, taking on region opponent Wilkinson County High School at Ben Harden Memorial Field at 5 p.m. The Vikings then play another region game at Glascock on Friday, April 5 at 5 p.m.
