Girls and Boys Track Win Area Meet, Advance to Sectionals

MACON, Ga. – The First Presbyterian Day School girls and boys track and field teams hosted the GHSA Area 1 Class A Private School track meet on Saturday, April 20, at George S. Johnson Stadium, with both teams earning wins.

In the girls meet, the Lady Vikings took first place with a score of 225, winning by 135 points over Brookstone.

In the boys meet, the Vikings also earned the victory, racking up 219 points and surpassing second-place finisher Brookstone.

With the meet win, both FPD track and field teams advance to the GHSA Sectional Track Meet on Saturday, April 27 hosted by Landmark Christian School. The meet gets underway at 10 a.m.
