Girls Tennis Advances to Area Semifinals with Win over Pacelli

MACON, Ga. – The First Presbyterian Day School girls tennis teams were in action on Thursday afternoon, April 18, taking on Pacelli in round one of the GHSA Class A Area 1 Private School Tournament at FPD.

The Lady Vikings did not disappoint, claiming a 4-1 win to advance to the Area semifinals on Monday, April 22.

FPD went 2-1 in singles matches with wins coming from Katy Hall and Mary Madison Foshee.

In doubles, the Lady Vikings went a perfect 2-0 with victories coming from Summer Sanders/Sydney Reese and Abigail Pierce/Bonnie Scurry.

FPD serves it up next against Savannah Country Day on Monday, Aprill 22 at the Mercer University courts in Macon at 9 a.m.
