Boys Tennis Advances to Final Four with Win Over Lakeview

MACON, Ga. – The First Presbyterian Day School boys tennis team kept its unbeaten streak alive on Thursday afternoon, May 2, defeating Lakeview 4-0 in the quarterfinal round of the Class A GHSA State Tennis Tournament at FPD.

The Vikings (20-0) will now play Pace Academy in the semifinals, with more details to follow in the coming days.

In the match against Lakeview, FPD earned singles victories from senior Daniel Strawn (6-1, 6-0) and Michael Durham (6-4, 6-2).

In doubles, the duos of Dylan Liles/Max Chandler (6-3, 6-2) and Tristan Hilyer/Brooks Hanson (6-0, 6-1) sealed the win for FPD.
