Football to Hold Parent Meeting May 16

MACON, Ga. – The First Presbyterian Day School football team and head coach Greg Moore has announced a mandatory parent meeting to be held on Thursday, May 16 in the High School Lecture Hall on the campus of FPD.

Beginning at 6:30 p.m., the brief meeting will cover information parents need to know about the upcoming 2013 football season.

Parents can expect to discuss summer calendar dates, strength and conditioning expectations, GHSA policies, and much more.

The FPD football team is currently in the midst of spring practice in preparation for the 2013 campaign.

The Vikings kick off the season on Friday, August 30, hosting George Walton Academy at 7:30 p.m. at George S. Johnson Stadium.

The First Presbyterian Day School Department of Athletics, home to multiple region and state championships in both the GISA and GHSA, strives to build the student athlete both in the playing arena and the classroom while continuing to educate and equip students to change the world for God’s glory. Now a member of the GHSA, the Vikings have continued to provide FPD athletes, coaches, fans and spectators a positive, Christian environment on a daily basis.
